Making old new (and green): What our team was up to this month

What is happening with Hanwell?  We get asked that question a lot……

Just this week Wilma was able to reassure staff at Mount Stuart on the Isle of Bute in need of advice on the future of their Hanwell system. They were hugely relieved to learn all Hanwell equipment and software are fully supported until the end of 2030 and there is no need to panic!

TOP TIP: It is recommended that all existing Hanwell users continue to have their equipment calibrated to make sure it is accurate until the time for it’s replacement has come! Get in touch

Wilma also held a Zoom training session in the use of the Hanwell EMS software for a new member of staff at Kilmartin Museum. Not needing to travel to the museum saved both time and energy yet still delivered a personal approach.

July also saw the end of our annual cycle of Environmental Data Analysis Reports for 30 National Trust for Scotland properties. This way the data is analysed as soon as possible after completion of the calendar year end, and we don't need to be on the road during the worst Scottish winter weather.

Did you know there are three of us who do the calibrations and reports….(left to right) Wilma, Helen and Gille.

Alongside our day jobs, we also have to manage the systems behind the scenes. Gille has been working with local virtual assistant Lauren of LJ Virtual Assistant (info@ljvirtualassistant.co.uk), who has made the process far smoother than we could have imagined. Our website is now up and running, and looks much better than anything we could have created ourselves!
